With our brands Franz Haas, Haas-Meincke and Haas-Mondomix, we unite tradition in plant construction and highest quality standards in the Haas Group. Our Austrian family-owned enterprise, which was founded by Franz Haas and is now run by the fourth generation of our family, represents the nucleus of the constantly growing Haas group.

Understanding needs led to success

The first wafer machine by Franz Haas was operated manually. Although it was not the first wafer machine on the market, it became one of the most successful ones. The reason was Franz Haas’ particular strength in always finding a proper solution for the requirements of his customers. He worked meticulously until he came to a new result.

Thanks to the full efforts of the third generation, Josef, Margarete, Franz and Johann, the Franz Haas company grew to a globally operating company with around 1,650 employees worldwide. Over all these years key knowledge, large experience and broad know-how was built up to adapt customer products ideally to local market conditions by using technology.

The current owners Stefan Jiraschek, Johannes Haas and Josef Haas say, “We have a clear mission – to support customers all their way.”
